HARRY POTTER ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

So yesterday I teased a bit about an exciting Harry Potter announcement coming out today, so without further ado....

GBFC is proud to present - Harry Potter: Revisited.

I am going to be hosting a read-along/watch-along, of the seven books and their movies between now and mid-june. Each book will be discussed with you, my faithful readers, and each movie will be watched on a particular weekend.

Ohhhh but that's not all, my friends! Not even close!

We're proud to be hosting a HUGE contest in anticipation of the release of the Half Blood Prince movie!!!

At the end of the contest there will be a grand prize, a runner up, and two second runners up! That's a lot of prizes! Check out the goodies you could win by playing along:

GRAND PRIZE:

The first prize winner will recieve ALL FIVE HP movies on DVD, and a ticket through fandango to go see Half Blood Prince in the theatre. (See, I told you it was huge!)

First Runner Up:

The second place winner will recieve a copy of Harry, A History by Melissa Anelli

Two Second Runners Up:

The third place winners will get a bag of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans as well as a hand made Harry Potter Bookmark

ALL PARTICIPANTS WITH 50 POINTS OR MORE WILL RECEIVE A HANDMADE HARRY POTTER BOOKMARK!

Do I have your attention now? Good, here are a few more details on the contest:

After we read each book and watch each movie I will post trivia questions on the site pertaining to both the movie and book of that week. I will keep track of the winners via a scoreboard that will live on the right column of my page (over there ----------->).

Each week there will be a 5, 10, 15, and 25 point question. Email me your answers, and the winner (chosen in June) will be decided by who has the most points.

There are more ways to get points!

By participating in the dicussions each week, you automatically get 5 points per discussion, you just have to make sure I know you're participating!

Bonus Points

25 point bonus - Post a blog about and linking back to our contest page! (Hey, this is an effort to get more blog readers and HP fans, after all...)

15 point bonus - Get a friend to participate in the contest. They MUST say to me that you are the one that referred them. Limit one per participant.
