Anyway, I happen to look down, and where the usual chocolate treats are, I see this:

Now. I realize that the Twilight series is like the biggest cash cow ever. But seriously. Is the Godiva market the same as the Twilight market? Does it sparkle, too?
Next up we'll have Twilight breads. Oh! Twilight vitamins! They can replace the Flinstones ones.
In case it's too fuzzy, the bottom reads "are you hungry for more?".

Wow. Really?? I hate to say this, but what a sell-out. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteYup - there was a Breaking Dawn tie-in for Godiva during the book release and Godiva has been keeping up with the movie releases (they are a pretty big hit with the guys during Valentine's Day because the Twilight-themed chocolate is a pretty easy buy for their girlfriends).
ReplyDeleteIf only it were shaped like R-Patz (I am COMPLETELY kidding - I think the whole thing is actually pretty rediculous).
